The student and the parent
Both see the same report. Nothing goes to a school or anyone else unless you share it yourself.
Plain answers for parents and students. The full privacy policy and consent terms are published before the family pilot, after review.
The safeguards below describe the planned live service. The current public sample has no recording, cloud paper uploads or real family accounts. Sample file checks happen on your device.
A practice session records the audio and produces a transcript, so the report can quote what the student said. The uploaded paper is kept so the coach can ask about it. The student sees exactly this, and confirms it, before every session starts.
Metrics such as timings, counts and costs are logged without content. Paper text, audio and transcripts are never sent into analytics.

Reports and papers sit behind the family’s accounts. A hidden link is not a privacy measure, and we don’t use one.
When live sessions open, speech and AI services will process the session so the coach can listen and respond. We never sell your paper, audio or reports.
For family practice sessions, our planned schedule is: audio deleted after 7 days, papers and full transcripts after 30 days, and reports kept until you delete them. Final retention terms, including how the speech services we use handle their copies, are confirmed before the family pilot.
The 7- and 30-day schedule covers family practice sessions. Files for college services follow the 90-day rule in our Privacy Policy.
The short quotes shown in a report stay with that report until you delete the report, even after the full transcript is gone.
Families will be able to delete a report, or the whole account, themselves. Deletion covers our systems, and we confirm how each provider handles its copies.
What a report does establish: what the student demonstrated in that session, in their own words. Treat it as a practice result, not a verdict.
Students must be 13 or older. For students under 18, a parent creates the account, gives consent and invites the student; the student is shown a notice and confirms it before every session. Students who are 18 or older may hold their own account and decide whether to share reports with a parent.
We collect the minimum needed to run the service, and no real student data is used before the consent flow is live.
