Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account, using the Assignment Control Center, or placing an order with Academic Wizard ("we", "us"), you ("Client") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Nature of services

Academic Wizard provides a free-account Assignment Control Center plus optional asynchronous academic planning, review, editing, research guidance, citation, formatting, revision-check, and study-support services for student-authored work. The Control Center explains requirements, shows related demonstrations, checks student attempts, and prioritizes actions; it does not provide submission-ready assessed work. The Client remains responsible for authorship, source verification, final decisions, disclosure obligations, and compliance with institutional rules.

3. Free beta accounts and feedback

A verified account is required to use the complete Assignment Control Center beta. Short structured feedback is required before readiness-record export. The guidance remains available before feedback. The feedback form accepts only fixed ratings and categories, not assignment text, names, school details, instructor information, or other personal data. Optional marketing consent is separate and is not required for beta access.

4. Orders & payment

Orders use the selected service's published fixed-scope, per-page, or per-source rate. Academic-level modifiers apply only to the services identified on the Pricing page. Due dates are used for scheduling and routing; Priority Delivery is the only optional delivery add-on when eligible. Payment is processed securely via Stripe in USD before work begins. Prices include applicable sales tax where required.

If the uploaded instructions materially differ from the purchased service scope, Academic Wizard may request clarification, recommend an order adjustment, or issue a refund before work begins.

5. Revisions

Correction requests are available for seven days from the recorded delivery timestamp when the delivered work misses the original instructions or purchased scope. Added pages, new sources, changed topics, new requirements, or a different service are outside that correction window. Review of a Client's later revised draft is a separate paid Revision Check.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Client retains ownership of materials they provide. Upon full payment, the Client may use the delivered audit, plan, feedback, edit, citation report, formatting, or study material for personal academic support subject to these Terms and institutional rules. Academic Wizard may retain working copies for quality, security, legal, and dispute purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Prohibited uses

Clients may not use Academic Wizard to take an exam, impersonate another person, fabricate research, sources, data, experiments, credentials, or results, or obtain a completed assignment intended to be submitted as the Client's own work. Academic Wizard may decline or cancel requests that fall outside the published service model or legal availability.

9. Human review and outcomes

Every real customer order requires final human review before delivery. This describes the delivery gate, not the production method. We do not guarantee grades, acceptance, plagiarism-database results, AI-detection results, or other academic outcomes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Academic Wizard's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the order in question. We are not liable for academic outcomes, grades, or institutional disciplinary actions.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Academic Wizard LLC is registered.
